Beach Please! Reflecting in Quarantine.

Quarantined and reflecting........

𝑻𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆 𝒐𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒃𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒉 #tbt

....

Looking back at this picture at my time on the beach at Maracas Bay in Trinidad, I’m reminded, that I always wanted to celebrate my birthday (Jan 26) on a beach and yet I have not made that happen. 2020 I had planned to celebrate on the beach for my half birthday, but those plans slowly dwindle...

{𝒓𝒆𝒇𝒍𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏}

These last 6 months for me are definitely for the books! Lost of family members, lost of national icons on (on my birthday), to a global #pandemic, followed up with an awaking and uprising of the unjust! Woooo!

With these last 3️⃣ and half months full of unknowns exuding a number feelings to include: interesting, scary, emotional, joyful, battling, worrisome, excited, relaxing, overstimulated, enlightening, innovative and much more, 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒃𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒉 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒔𝒂𝒍𝒕 𝒘𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝒊𝒔 𝒆𝒙𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒍𝒚 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝑰 𝒏𝒆𝒆𝒅 𝒓𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒏𝒐𝒘.

𝑻𝒉𝒆 #𝑺𝒊𝒍𝒗𝒆𝒓𝑳𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 : Believe it or not, but the last few months was a time I definitely asked for, but didn’t expect it to be packaged like this.

I’ve learned new things, I’ve let go some old things, I’ve created, renewed and refreshed some things in my 𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒆 and in my 𝑺𝒑𝒂𝒄𝒆. Each day I see the #impact, #purpose and #progress that I asked for happening in 2020.

Although I preferred the path of 2020 to be more comfortable and serene like the beach, I have to keep in mind that rough waves and high tides are the uncomfortable elements that too makeup such a beautiful and calming place that I do much enjoy to be.

𝑩𝒆𝒂𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒔 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒆 𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒋𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒏𝒆𝒚𝒔 𝒕𝒐 𝒆𝒏𝒋𝒐𝒚𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕!

Some 𝒅𝒂𝒚s 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒈𝒉,

𝒂𝒏𝒅 some 𝒅𝒂𝒚s 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒄𝒂𝒍𝒎!
